Gene W. Choe
Gene Choe was educated at Occidental College and earned a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy in 1986. Thereafter, he worked as a court-certified Korean interpreter from 1987 through 1997, gaining valuable exposure and experience in all phases of civil and criminal proceedings, both State and Federal. He attained his Juris Doctor from University of West Los Angeles in 1996, earning the American Jurisprudence Bancroft-Whitney Award in Criminal Procedure. In March of 1997, Mr. Choe acquired his California law license after passing his California Bar Examination on his first try. Mr. Choe is a very experienced litigator specializing in real estate, criminal defense, immigration, family law, and bankruptcy.
Greg Douglas
Greg Douglas has been practicing law in southern California for over 16 years. Mr. Douglas joined the Law Offices of Gene W. Choe in March 2007, and brings substantial experience to the firm in the fields of general civil litigation including, contracts, real estate, business law, personal injury and commercial disputes. Mr. Douglas has a varied background in the practice of law as a result of previously running his own law offices as well as practicing for several years at both large and mid-size law firms. Mr. Douglas received his B. S. in business administration from California State University at Northridge and his J. D. from Northrop University School of Law.
Luke Jackson
Luke Jackson joined the Law Offices of Gene W. Choe in March 2006 after practicing general civil litigation defense for several years at larger firms. Mr. Jackson received his B.A. in literature from the University of California at Santa Cruz in 1999 and his J.D. from UCLA School of Law in 2002. Mr. Jackson practices in the areas of civil litigation, personal injury, real property, commercial disputes, family law, and criminal law.
